Vertical Industry Day 2.0

Business Finland will organise Vertical Industry Day 2.0, an in-person event on 28 January 2025. The event will bring together experts from industry and academia to explore the intersection of research and real-world applications in advanced connectivity technologies.

As part of the event, members of the 6G Flagship programme at the University of Oulu will contribute their expertise:

  • Petri Ahokangas, Professor of Future Digital Business, will deliver a talk on the evolving business models enabled by 6G technologies.
  • Risto Jurva, Research Manager, will discuss resilient 5G/6G systems, focusing on dual-use perspectives and their implications for security and defence.
