Matti Latva-aho, Vice Rector for Research, University of Oulu

Matti Latva-aho, Vice Rector for Research at the University of Oulu, will serve as General Co-Chair of IEEE FINE 2026. In this role, he supports the strategic development of the conference and contributes 6G Flagship expertise to the global research community on future and intelligent networking. This role supports 6G Flagship’s Distributed Intelligence by strengthening international research coordination around next-generation networking architectures and intelligent network systems.
