Join 6G Flagship at the International Conference on Computing, Networking and Communications (ICNC 2026), taking place on 18 February 2026 in Maui, Hawaii.

As part of the conference programme, 6G Flagship will contribute to the invited forum “Invited Forum 2: Open 6G for all – the OpenRIT-6G initiative building up local open 6G testbeds around the globe”. The session is driven by the OpenRIT-6G initiative, which promotes globally connected, open 6G testbeds to enable early access to emerging 6G technologies and applications.

The forum focuses on how open and sustainable 6G infrastructures can be realised, and on the interface between network architectures and vertical applications. Topics include interoperability, digital sovereignty, the role of AI in testbeds, and the transition from 5G Advanced to 6G.

Ari Pouttu, the director of the 6G Flagship, will speak in the session Invited Forum 2: Open 6G for all – the OpenRIT-6G initiative building up local open 6G testbeds around the globe, held on Wednesday 18 February 2026 at 16:00–18:00.
