17th International Conference on ICT Convergence (ICTC 2026)

October 14 - October 16

The 17th International Conference on ICT Convergence (ICTC 2026) runs from 14 to 16 October 2026 at the Sheraton Jeju on Jeju Island, South Korea. The conference is held entirely on site. Jeju Island sits off the country’s south coast and hosts several major international conferences each year.

The Korean Institute of Communications and Information Sciences (KICS) organises ICTC 2026, which brings researchers, academics and industry professionals together to discuss developments in ICT convergence. Its programme covers communications, networking, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, including 6G, non-terrestrial networks, terahertz communications and digital twins.

Professor Mehdi Bennis represents 6G Flagship in the conference’s keynote programme. His talk, The Road to Compositional Intelligence: Semantic Communication, World Models, and Compositionality, looks at how wireless systems might exchange meaning rather than raw data, building world models that let a network reason about a task instead of transmitting every detail.
