Tuomo Hänninen

Tuomo Hänninen is currently a Research Director at the Centre for Wireless Communications (CWC). He holds a M.Sc. degree in electronics and Dr.Sc. degree in telecommunications. He has a background in FPGA design and especially in High-Level Synthesis (HLS). At the University of Oulu he has been coordinating several applied research projects and activities in the field of Spectrum Sharing, Critical Communication, IoT, Energy and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). He is a co-founder in the Finnish UAV Ecosystem (FUAVE).
