Biography of
Sami Myllymäki
Sami Myllymäki (D.Sc.) received his M.Sc. and D.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Oulu, Finland, in 1999 and 2012, respectively. He is a Docent (Adjunct Professor) in “Materials for RF technology, modelling, and measurements of RF components”. He has served as the Leader of the RF and Microwave Research Group at the Microelectronics Research Unit since 2016. He has coordinated and participated in more than 20 publicly and industrially funded research projects, including Horizon Europe, M-ERA.NET, and Business Finland initiatives. He has a strong background in high-frequency component development, RF measurement techniques, dielectric materials, and millimetre-wave device design. He is the author or co-author of over 100 peer-reviewed journal publications, three patents, and several industrial technical reports.
