6G Flagship at ICTC 2025, International Conference on ICT Convergence, 14–17 October 2025, Jeju Island, Korea

ICTC is supported by IEEE and brings together academic, industry and government stakeholders to explore innovation in ICT convergence. The event takes place on 14–17 October 2025 in Jeju Island, Korea. Topics range from networks and systems to AI, 6G, devices, security and digital transformation.

Representing 6G Flagship

Shalini Madhumali Lanka, University of Oulu, Finland, will present the paper Active Indoor Situational Awareness Through LED Lighting Systems on 15 October 2025 (13:10–14:40), in the Networks & Systems I session. The paper introduces an LED-based sensing approach for real-time situational awareness in indoor environments.

Also presenting

Sasan Sharifipour, doctoral researcher at the Multimodal Sensing Lab (MMSLab), CMVS, University of Oulu, will present A Modular Domain-Aware Neural Network Architecture for Power Amplifier Linearization on 15 October 2025 (13:10–14:40), in the same Networks & Systems I session (Room: Crystal 2). The work, developed in close collaboration with Nokia and Nokia Bell Labs, proposes a deep learning approach to enhance energy and spectral efficiency in RF communications.
