Exploring future 5G/6G opportunities webinar

The webinar on Exploring Future 5G/6G Opportunities is a special virtual gathering organised by Luleå Tekniska Universitet. This webinar seeks to convene experts from the academic community, the technology sector, and relevant industries to examine the next steps in 5G and 6G telecommunication technologies. Attendees can look forward to a series of discussions, lectures, and real-world examples on subjects like machine connectivity in remote areas, winter performance testing of 5G vehicles, and sensor capabilities in 6G, among others. The event places an emphasis on synergistic discussions to further the practical applications and theoretical understanding of 5G and 6G technologies.

Representing 6G Flagship at this event will be Muhammad Asad Ullah, a Doctoral Student at the University of Oulu, who will be speaking on machine connectivity in remote areas through direct-to-satellite communications, and Harri Saarnisaari and Johanna Vartiainen, who will be speaking on how to improve access to remote areas.
