6G Global Summit 2024

The 6G Global Summit, hosted by Ofcom UK, returns as a hybrid event on May 21-22. Attendees can attend in person at the Pullman St Pancras in London or online via our virtual platform.
As global momentum builds around the development of 6G technology, we stand at the threshold of a transformative era. This new phase in connectivity promises to transform industries and redefine our daily lives and communication methods. The summit will serve as a crucial platform for top-tier industry leaders, policymakers, and experts worldwide to discuss the journey towards 2030—highlighting the challenges and opportunities we face on the path forward.
The event will explore early research and visions for future 6G technologies. Discussions will focus on the emerging drivers, applications, and use cases shaping the landscape of next-generation networks. Marja Matinmikko-Blue, the Director of Sustainability and Regulation at 6G Flagship, will prominently feature in two sessions:
- 11:25 – 12:30 BST: She will moderate the “6G Spectrum Roadmap” panel, delving into future spectrum needs and strategic considerations.
- 16:25 – 17:05 BST: Marja will participate in the “Sustainability by Design” panel and discuss how 6G can contribute to sustainable development.
