6G AI-RAN Workshop at IEEE INFOCOM 2026

May 18
6G AI-RAN workshop at IEEE INFOCOM 2026, 18 May, Hilton Tokyo

Three 6G Flagship researchers travel to Tokyo on 18 May 2026 for the First Workshop on AI-Native Distributed Intelligence for 6G Networks, known as 6G AI-RAN 2026. The workshop runs at the Hilton Tokyo as part of IEEE INFOCOM 2026.

IEEE INFOCOM is the flagship networking conference of the IEEE Communications Society, gathering researchers across both theoretical and systems research in computer communications. The main conference runs 19 to 21 May, with workshops on Monday 18 May.

Prof. Matti Latva-aho serves as General Co-Chair of the 6G AI-RAN workshop. Dr Dileepa Marasinghe serves as TPC Co-Chair and joins the panel discussion “AI-RAN and Beyond: Viable Architectural Evolution toward AI-Native 6G Infrastructure”. Project Researchers Shakthi Gimhana and Sanath Ramesh present papers on digital twins for 6G RAN and neural network-based channel estimation.
