Nuwanthika Rajapaksha

Nuwanthika Rajapaksha is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the 6G Flagship, specializing in AI-RAN with a focus on applying AI/ML techniques to optimize PHY and MAC layer functionalities. She received her B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, in 2014, and her M.Sc. and D.Sc. degrees in Wireless Communications Engineering from the University of Oulu, Finland, in 2019 and 2025, respectively. She has contributed to several national and international projects, including Hexa-X, Hexa-X-II, and 6GARROW. From October 2021 to June 2022, she was with Nokia Bell Labs, Stuttgart, Germany, as a part of her doctoral thesis work. Her research interests include cell-free and cellular massive MIMO, energy efficient communications, and sensing-aided communications.
